Freeman graduated from Hastings College in 1993 with a degree in business administration. A certified public accountant, he also earned a certificate in nonprofit leadership from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.

He and his spouse Susan (Herbek) Freeman ’94 are the parents of a daughter, Aly.
